On December 11, 2023, the United States issued a circular to revise the Regulations on the Requirements of Compliance Certificates.

This revision will ensure that the certificate of compliance rules are consistent with other rules of the Consumer Product Safety Commission on testing and certification, and require that imported products and substances subject to the supervision of the Consumer Product Safety Commission must submit certificates to the US Customs and Border Protection for electronic filing.

The review period of this regulation is until February 6, 2024.
